Matt Savner - Founder

Matt Savner, the visionary force behind MASSIVE MEDIA MS, is a man driven by purpose and passion. Born and raised in the vibrant city of Atlanta, Georgia, Matt made Mississippi his home in 1999. After graduating from Long Beach High School in 2003, he pursued his creative calling, earning a BAFA in graphic design from ITT Tech.

Matt’s journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. A former professional paintball player and president of a car club, he has always embraced challenge and adventure. But it was the local music scene that truly captured his heart, providing a space where creativity and community converged. In 2007, the birth of his daughter, Lillia, marked a transformative chapter in his life. Shortly after, a near-death experience ignited a fire within him—a profound realization that life’s true meaning is found in the “dash” between the dates on your tombstone. That dash symbolizes the legacy you leave behind, and Matt was determined to make his count.

With a renewed sense of purpose, he dove headfirst into the music scene, discovering a network of talented individuals united by a shared love for music and mutual support. Though not a musician himself, Matt felt compelled to contribute in a powerful way. He envisioned a platform that could elevate artists, helping them transcend barriers and achieve their dreams.

From that vision, MASSIVE MEDIA was born—a beacon for musicians striving for MASSIVE success. Matt’s mission is clear: to empower every band he works with to reach their fullest potential, transforming their passion into a legacy that echoes far beyond the dash.

Makayla Mouring

Booking | Management

Makayla Mouring will be booking shows and doing promotions. She was born in Gulfport, Mississippi, lived in Alabama for a short time during her childhood, then moved to Saucier, Mississippi, a small town just north of Gulfport, when she was in elementary school. Though she’s traveled to a lot of places, Makayla always finds herself back in Saucier, and she lives there

currently. Music has always been a big part of Makayla’s life. She was infatuated with it ever since she was a little girl. She sang in talent shows and in some cover bands growing up, and heavily immersed herself in the music scene about 10 years ago. The first successful metal show Makayla booked, organized, and promoted was her own birthday event a few years ago. She went on to join the Gulf Coast Metal Alliance and attended any Gulf Coast rock and metal events she was able to. Makayla organized a lot of shows locally, including Headbanging For Hunger. That event started out as a way to help the less fortunate around Thanksgiving time, and grew into specifically raising money and collecting food for US veterans in need. Makayla has worked with a long list of metal and hard rock bands, including Southern Brutality and Teratoma, the bands that played her birthday bash a few years ago that started things for her. She joined forces with Massive Media after seeking out From Ashes Within for her March Madness Metal event this year, and she credits Gene Broome from Spade Image for putting in a good word for her. Makayla’s goal is to help get bands more exposure and into more venues and different cities. She says the only way to get people into new music is to bring the bands to their venues. Makayla is also a tattoo artist, which she says is truly a dream job. She loves being able to express herself artistically, and says it also helps with creating flyers and artwork for bands.

Kalyn Farmer “The Rock Queen”

Booking | Social Media Management | Band Management

Known as rOcKqUeEn, is native to Yazoo City, MS. In the wake of the tragic passing of her stepfather, her mother wanted better for her children so she moved them to Pelahatchie, MS. There Kalyn, attended Pisgah elementary/high School and graduated in 2009. She is the oldest of six, and learned very early on about hardships, hard work, and determination. One thing that did help in hard situations was music. Kalyn, attributes her love for music to her mom. Mrs. Tracy, the woman who loves to dance, always encouraged her children to express themselves, chase their dreams with full support, and never fussed when they would blare their boomboxes!

Ms. Farmer is a mom to three children. A son by the name of Kael Harris, as well as two daughters Dixie Magnolia, and Motley Wylde. Her children mean the world to her, and is striving to show them that chasing dreams can become a reality. “You have to earn your place nothing is ever handed to you.”

Kalyn, has always viewed the world a little differently than most. She believes there is beauty in everything. Furthermore she is into all things dark and wicked because she can see the artistry behind it. “Even in the dark there is always light.” A huge fan of the horror movie genre. One of her favorite things to do is watch to older films or the campy “B” rated horror movies. A hobby of hers is to go to antique stores or malls to find “creepy” aesthetic home decor that fits in with her eclectic personality. She may have southern draw and did barrel race horses in her youth, but don’t let that fool you because that’s just one of her many attributes that makes her One of a kind!

When it comes to music Kalyn, likes to think she has a special connection to certain sounds on a cosmic level. She often experiences “Musical Frisson.” She not only feels the song, but she has the ability to pick out the smallest details from the guitar riffs, the bass level, and voice octaves to name a few. Kalyn loves all genres of music, but rock/metal is her favorite. To her this genre is the deepest felt and usually the artists have a certain dark story to tell.

Kalyn specializes in social media management. She has multiple platforms she uses to promote for Massive Media. She is also social media manager to bands and helps direct them on how to gain a following as well as promoting their content and music. “Consistency is key in the social media age.” In addition to Social Media, she also helps to gain sponsors or endorsements from companies. Although new to booking bands, she is taking it head on and is learning from the best mentors in the industry

Leah Voodoo

Booking | Videographer

I’ve been tattooing for 20 years, which means I’ve spent two decades turning people’s impulsive ideas, emotional breakthroughs, and “my friend dared me” moments into permanent artwork. I’m an award‑winning artist with the 2025 Ink Masters Convention trophy sitting proudly on my shelf — mostly because I broke my first one and I like the way it intimidates guests.

Over the years, I’ve tattooed everyone from first‑timers who nearly fainted at the stencil to seasoned collectors who treat their skin like a museum with questionable admission policies. I’ve heard every story, every excuse, every “I swear I’m not drunk,” and I’ve survived it all with my sanity mostly intact.

But ink is only the beginning of my chaos.

For almost a decade, I’ve been deep in the music industry — supporting bands, documenting tours, writing articles for magazines, dodging flying elbows in mosh pits, and pretending I don’t need hearing protection. In November 2025, I decided I wasn’t busy enough and picked up a camera. Since then, I’ve been shooting photos and videos like someone who discovered a new superpower and immediately refused to use it responsibly.

I’ve worked with bands like Hawthorne Heights, Saliva, Emmure, Hinder, Them Guys, Kawaii AF, Serena’s Fire, Transient, and a long list of others who trusted me to capture their loudest, sweatiest, most chaotic moments. If they make noise, I’ve probably filmed them, tattooed someone in their front man, or designed their new album art.

So what am I now? A tattoo artist, photographer, videographer, writer, industry gremlin, caffeine-powered creative machine, and the occasional voice of reason (very occasional). I thrive on chaos, live for art in every form, and somehow keep finding new ways to make my life more interesting.

If you’re looking for someone who can ink your skin, shoot your show, hype your band, fix the logo on your merch and crack a joke while doing it

David Dominguez

Producer | Manager

In January of ‘98, David Dominguez got an opportunity of a lifetime when he was given the chance to work with one of his favorite bands of all time (sort of)...Guns N’ Roses.  Even if it was just Axl Rose and keyboardist Dizzy Reed left in the band, they made history. Being the first engineer with the “new” band was a task not to be taken lightly.  An intense set-up on top of giving the technical rundown to potential producers like Youth, Scott Litt and Jay Baumgardner among others could have been intimidating and at times it was, if just a bit.

It was that chance meeting with Baumgardner that gave Dave is his next break - he showed up at NRG to work on fill-in session when a scheduling conflict left him out in the cold, a catalyst in the opportunity to work with Jay Baumgardner on a demo session with a band from Sacramento called Papa Roach. When a deal was struck with Dreamworks and the band with Jay in the producers chair, Jay offered Dave the engineering gig and that record.  “Infest” spent eight weeks in the Top 10 on the Billboard charts, and the single “Last Resort” was a #1 Modern Rock track on Billboard.  4 million records later, here we stand.

It was Dave’s work with Jay and Papa Roach that caught the ear of producer Josh Abraham and after their first meeting, Josh asked Dave to sit in the engineer’s chair for Powerman 5000, which then led to sessions with Orgy and Staind. Staind’s record “Break The Cycle” hit #1 on the Billboard Album Chart and stayed there for three weeks, and the 1st single from that record, “It’s Been Awhile”, spent weeks on Billboard’s Modern Rock and Mainstream Rock Charts.

David was also apart of one the 90’s most influential Alt Rock records, “Pinkerton”, having recorded some of Weezer’s guitars. Dave still gets questions regarding those sessions; “It’s funny that I still get asked about that record, at the time, it was another session with a cool band. I’ll read an article about what’s influencing new bands out today and a lot of them respond with Pinkerton, that’s still a very cool feeling.”

Lately, Dave has lent his engineering talents to Queen Latifah, recording vocals for her upcoming record, and the new “Ice Age” soundtrack, as well as YouTube sensations Ninja Sex Party. NSP has put 4 albums on the Billboard Top 10 comedy charts over the last few years. He’s also done extensive work for Warrior Records, engineering and mixing Louis Prima Jr and the Witnesses last 2 records, along with engineering and mixing The Voice season 3 contestant Rudy Parris’ debut album. He’s been producing indie artists from all around the country.  David is a music fan first and foremost, so when asked what type of music he likes working on most, he says “I love it all, all genres. I don't want to limit myself to one style of music, that takes the fun out of life”.
